The Rural Small Business Digital Growth and Innovation Grant Program supports small businesses in Tazewell and Buchanan Counties by investing $90,000 to enhance digital presence and sales through:
- Website development and redevelopment
- Online sales/e-commerce setup
- Digital marketing campaigns
- Professional content creation
- Cybersecurity improvements
- Business management tools (e.g. inventory management, POS systems, financial software, etc)
Businesses can receive up to $5,000 or more in digital support. Applications are accepted and awards granted on a rolling basis until December 2025 or until funds are exhausted.
Applicant Guidelines:
- Must be a small business in Buchanan County or Tazewell County, Virginia
- Must be able to show Virginia State Corporation Commission registration
- Must be willing to work with a technical service provider to reach goals.
- Regular check-ins to assess progress and address challenges.
- Grantees to provide interim and final reports on impact metrics, including increased revenue and customer base growth.
